Is there any subscription fee or monthly charge?
No, never. NumberBroom is 100% pay-as-you-go. You pay per row processed when you run a job. There are no monthly fees, no annual contracts, no seat licenses, and no minimums. You can run one job in January and not run another until July and you will not be charged anything in between.
What is the minimum job size?
There is no minimum. You can scrub a list with a single phone number if you want. In practice most customers upload lists of 500 to 10,000+ rows per job. The free trial lets you scrub 5 rows with no credit card required so you can see the output format before committing.
How do I pay for a job?
Payment is handled through Stripe checkout. When you upload a list, NumberBroom calculates the exact cost based on your row count and selected tier, then routes you through a Stripe payment session. After payment confirms, processing begins automatically. Results are available in your dashboard as a downloadable CSV.
Do I get a refund if some numbers are invalid?
NumberBroom charges per row in your uploaded CSV. Invalid or disconnected numbers are still processed through the validation engine to determine their status — that determination is the service. Rows that are identified as invalid or removed are still counted in your job cost because the API calls were made to check them.
Is the Full Hygiene tier worth the extra cost?
Full Hygiene at $0.079/row adds Contact Grades (A–F), Activity Scores, and name match verification. It is most valuable for high-stakes outreach where you want to prioritize A-grade contacts and avoid wasting dialer time on low-activity leads. For general list cleaning before a campaign, Base Scrub at $0.044/row is typically sufficient. Most customers start with Base Scrub and upgrade to Full Hygiene for their best lists.
Do you offer volume discounts for large lists?
